Through this partnership, Attain has opened a full service clinic in the Xtreme Training building in Paradise, with availability for both Xtreme Hockey Program Members and Non Members. 

About Attain Physiotherapy & Sport Performance Centre

Established in 2022, Attain Physiotherapy & Sport Performance Centre is not just a clinic, but a hub for athletes of all levels across Newfoundland & Labrador to receive sports physiotherapy, sports medicine services, and strength and conditioning. 

More than just sports injury management, Attain is dedicated to accelerating Newfoundland’s athletic future. Through personalized assessments & collaborative care plans, we empower athletes to excel on all levels in sports rehab and strength and conditioning.

Our two spacious facilities boast state-of-the-art equipment & an expansive turf space, perfect for dynamic exercise & sport-specific rehabilitation. From Physiotherapy to Massage Therapy, Strength & Conditioning to Nutrition, we offer comprehensive care to ensure athletes move better & perform at their peak.

Our staff of rehabilitation & sport performance professionals, including certified sports physiotherapists, massage therapists, and chiropractors bring experience working with & traveling with athletes & teams competing provincially, nationally, & internationally.

The Facility

Conveniently located at 1297 Topsail Road, Xtreme has a dedicated clinical facility, mirroring the well established model that Attain has developed and made successful since 2022. This new space offers open concept treatment areas, private massage therapy and concussion rehabilitation spaces and a full gym area, allowing for comprehensive sports rehabilitation and return to play progressions.

Do I need to be an Xtreme Member to make an appointment? No, anyone can get treatment! If you have a body, you’re an athlete!

 

Where is the clinic located? The attain location is conveniently located in the upstairs section of the Xtreme Training building in paradise. This area includes both open concept treatment spaces and private treatment rooms, allowing for rehabilitation to occur in a space that works for you.

What services are offered? We will be offering Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy, Chiropractic and Concussion treatments out of our Paradise Facility. For more services, you can book at our 9 Austin Street location. 

Do they only treat hockey injuries? No! The Attain team is trained and experienced in dealing with injuries from all sports, not just hockey! Whether you are a professional athlete or a weekend warrior, our team can help you get back to doing what you love!

How does billing work? Attain Physiotherapy offers direct billing to most major private insurance providers. When you book an appointment, all insurance and billing info will be entered into the online portal; following your appointment, billing will be processed. If there are any issues, someone from the Attain team will be in touch. 

Do I need a doctor’s referral? No, a doctor’s referral is not required to see a physiotherapist. However, we recommend checking with your specific insurance provider, as some plans may require one for reimbursement purposes.

Who are the therapists? The Attain team is composed of experienced clinicians who have worked with athletes at provincial, national, and international levels. They work in direct collaboration with our Xtreme coaching staff to ensure a safe and effective “return to play” transition.
