Meet Jon Reid, a passionate advocate for youth hockey development in Newfoundland. With a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and a Master’s in Kinesiology, Jon combines his academic expertise with extensive experience as a player at junior, university, and senior levels. His journey in hockey includes a rewarding year with Xtreme, where he thrives on sharing his love for the game. As a devoted father, Jon understands the importance of nurturing young talent, and he is committed to helping youth hockey athletes reach their full potential. He believes that continuous education and experience enhance his coaching abilities, allowing him to make a lasting impact on the athletes he works with. Watching his players succeed is a source of inspiration for Jon, motivating him to be better every day. Hockey isn’t just a sport for him—it’s a lifelong passion.

Matt Mills – Strength and Conditioning coach
Matt was born and raised in St. John’s, Newfoundland. He grew up playing hockey as an X athlete and began working with the company in 2019. Matt recently completed his bachelor of kinesiology at Memorial University, with aspirations to work within the field of strength and conditioning.
Being a fresh face in the world of strength and conditioning, Matt is determined to advance his expertise in the field through continued education. He also looks to combine his educational knowledge with his love for hockey to bring out the best while training athletes.
